Elton John recently rescheduled two dates on his farewell tour—dates that happen to fall on the weekend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding this May. British tabloid The Sun reported that he moved the shows, which were set to be in Las Vegas, so he could attend the nuptials, but John hasn’t confirmed or denied that report.

A statement on EltonJohn.com simply cites a “scheduling conflict” for his May 18 and 19 shows, and the concerts will be rescheduled for Sunday, May 6, and Wednesday, May 16. All the ticket orders for May 18 and 19 will be refunded, and ticketholders will get an advance presale to buy tickets for the rescheduled shows. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be married at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in England on May 19.

John, who attended Prince William and Duchess Kate’s nuptials and was close with Princess Diana, told The Sun last month that he wanted to attend the wedding, but didn’t know if he was on the guest list. “I don’t know. I haven’t even been—no one’s been asked,” he said. “I’m playing in Vegas so I don’t know what’s going to happen. It will be nice because I love him dearly.” A representative for John did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Previously, John opened up about how happy Prince Harry has been with Markle. "I could tell that he was totally in love," John said about when he saw Harry in Sicily. "He didn't really discuss much personally but he said 'I'm in love' and I thought 'good for you.' Both of those boys seem to be ecstatically happy and that's all you want people to be."
