Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and The OC's Seth Cohen (Adam Brody) got married in real life way back in 2014, and the internet obsessed over the teen TV dream pair that never was on screen. But neither Meester or Brody had ever chimed in on the joke until Tuesday. Entertainment Tonight asked both of them if they've had a laugh over the whole thing.
"Occasionally," Brody said.
"Yeah, maybe occasionally. Not in the same way maybe you do," Meester said.
"Once a year—once a year, we have a Seth and Blair day, where we dress up," Brody joked. "It's good for a laugh."
Meester then gave the honest answer: "It doesn't excite us, I think, because we're just human beings." Then she softened the Blair-esque line with a "but it's exciting to us that it's exciting to you. It's cool."
