Leighton Meester has returned to the red carpet, and let us all say it was worth the wait.
The actor made a fabulous appearance at the Winter Wonderland gala hosted by Amazon Freevee and Prime Video on Thursday at Culver Studios in Culver City, California. For the festive occasion, the Gossip Girl star brought out her most elegant holiday gown by Silvia Tcherassi: a silky cherry-red halterneck dress embellished with a giant rosette at the center. Meester wore the glamorous floor-length gown with strappy black sandals, an elongated white leather clutch bag adorned with shimmering crystals, dangly diamond earrings, and diamond rings.
She matched her party dress with a bright red lip and otherwise wore minimal makeup, including a subtle sparkly gold shadow and a gold mani-pedi. Her hair was styled in a casually sophisticated updo.
“#Exmas 🎄 holiday spirit extravaganza!! 💃” she wrote in an Instagram post featuring photos of herself at the event. "@amazonstudios winter wonderland ❄️ with the #exmas people I love,” she captioned a second post.
It’s not often Meester graces us with her presence at a Hollywood event, but this month she has been busy promoting her new holiday film, EXmas, and supporting husband Adam Brody as he promotes his own new movie, American Fiction. The two attended a special screening of the comedy-drama on December 5, and looked so in love as they walked the red carpet together.

For the event, the actors coordinated in sleek black looks, with Meester looking lovely in a black velvet dress, strappy silver flats, and dainty diamond jewelry, and OC star Brody looking sharp in a black suit, light blue dress shirt, and brown shoes.
