Idris Elba just broke a billion hearts—today, the incredibly handsome actor proposed to his girlfriend, Sabrina Dhowre, and she accepted. In a major declaration of love, Elba proposed to Dhowre onstage at a London screening of his forthcoming movie, Yardie. This will be Elba's third marriage.

The London-based cinema, Rio, where Elba's proposal took place, announced the happy event with a photo of the actor looking ecstatic, and wearing a sign that says "off," presumably because he's off the market now... *sob*:
According to The Sun, Elba and Dhowre have been dating since March 2017, although they didn't make their red carpet debut until September 2017, when they stepped out to promote Elba's movie, The Mountain Between Us, at the Toronto Film Festival.
Elba had previously ruled out getting married again, telling ESSENCE in August 2017, "Am I ever gonna get remarried? I don't think so. Yeah, I don't think so. Marriage is an institution of sorts. And I've done it. It's not for everybody. It's not my life's calling." However, it seems as though Dhowre has changed his mind, as the actor's extremely romantic, and very public, proposal demonstrates.
Dhowre met Elba on the set of The Mountain Between Us, and in 2014, she was crowned Miss Vancouver. The highly photogenic couple look very much in love, and have picked the perfect moment to get engaged with Valentine's mere days away.
