Rihanna decided to treat her fans on Friday night by going live for the first ever Fenty Social Club.

The online event featured an array of performers, but most importantly it gave fans access to the one and only Fenty founder. However, Rihanna made it clear that she wouldn't be talking about her long-awaited ninth album during the event, and told fans, "If one of y’all motherfuckers ask me about the album one more time when I’m tryna save the world unlike y’all president…"

Fans had been hoping that Rihanna would drop her ninth studio album in 2020. However, the superstar has been a little busy with a plethora of projects and fundraising activities. For instance, just this week, PETA gave Rihanna an award for releasing a faux-leather Fenty clothing collection.

And when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic, Rihanna has been seriously generous. Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey and Rihanna collaborated to donate a massive $4.2 million to support people affected by domestic violence and seeking shelter with their children in Los Angeles. Plus, Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation pledged $5 million to global coronavirus relief efforts.

Sure, we'd all love to hear Rihanna's ninth album, but the coronavirus pandemic is probably not the right moment to ask her for it.
