You probably never thought you'd be jealous of a stuffed fictional animal, but here we are.

Footage released recently of Justin Trudeau's appearance in a children's video series on CBC Kids about Gary, a puppet unicorn, who loves hugs. In it, the Prime Minister gets inducted into Gary's Hug Club by giving him the best hug possible. (You know, the usual Prime Minister day-to-day.)

"I'm gonna do what I want to do all the time when I meet people: give them the biggest, squeeziest hug that I can!" Trudeau told Gary. (Please note the Prime Minister of Canada uttered the word "squeeziest" on camera.) He then proceeds to wrap Gary in the ultimate embrace, squeezing him with the enthusiasm a child hugging a new puppy on Christmas (or this boy hugging a banana). I like to imagine he does the same with people.

Some might believe Trudeau is a unicorn himself—a handsome, young world leader who is also a vocal feminist and adorable dad with an incredible taste in socks—which makes his encounter with Gary all the more fitting.
