Sometimes it's hard to believe that there are people actually born past the nineties, yet American singer-songwriter Charlotte Lawrence is proof that they exist! The "Sleep Talking" singer, who was born in the year 2000, put her knowledge of her birth year to the test in our latest episode of Vs. the Year. From Harry Potter-themed candy to the sexiest man of the millennium, Lawrence shows us just how much she knows (and doesn't know) about the year 2000.

The Harry Potter movie franchise, based on the best-selling magical book series by J.K. Rowling, set the world on fire when it was first released in 2001. And what's the point of making a series of successful wizard-themed films if you can't capitalize on a wizard-themed candy for fans?

Apparently, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans (you know, those jelly beans that have you guessing if red means cinnamon or vomit) became the most popular candy in the year 2000.

Lawrence was familiar with the sweets. "They're the ones that have the nasty-ass ones and the good ones," she said when presented with a box of the beans. Still, she had trouble placing the name. "Jelly bellies. Jelly Harry Potter belly beans." Where's Hermione when you need her?

On the Sexiest Man in 2000:

People's infamous Sexiest Man of the Year title began the new millennium with an iconic heartthrob.

Although Lawrence initially guessed that George Clooney was voted Sexiest Man of 2000, she eventually remedied her answer. "I think Brad Pitt is a beautiful man," she said. "I think he's literally the most beautiful man. I just watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and it's like he's still the most beautiful man. He doesn't age, like fine wine."
